Who Can Become and Egg Donor?
We consider all applicants on a case-by-case basis, but to become an egg donor, you must meet the following basic requirements:
- Age: 21-29 years old
- Good general health
- BMI: Less than 30 (not medically obese)
- No sexually transmitted diseases within the last 12 months
- Non-smoker
- Family history free of significant health or hereditary issues
The Simple Steps to Becoming an Egg Donor

- Medical cycle preparation: If you are selected as a donor, you will begin birth control for 2-6 weeks, followed by hormonal injections for approximately 2 weeks. These injections help stimulate your ovaries to produce multiple eggs. The retrieval procedure typically takes only about 20 minutes.
