Dr. Courtney Murphy is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with specialized training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She joins Pinnacle Fertility in Chicago after completing her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where she also served as a Clinical Fellow and active contributor to research on uterine function and reproductive health.
Dr. Murphy earned her Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honors) from the University of Western Ontario before completing her Doctor of Medicine at Trinity College Dublin in Ireland. She went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Toledo, where she was named Academic Chief Resident and recognized for her leadership in developing enhanced training programs for residents.
Throughout her career, Dr. Murphy has been committed to advancing fertility care through both clinical excellence and education. Her professional interests include reproductive surgery, medical genetics, and fertility preservation, and she has contributed to research supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. She is an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).
Dr. Murphy is known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach, guiding individuals and couples through every step of their fertility journey with empathy, education, and evidence-based care.
When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. Murphy enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and exploring new restaurants in Chicago.
