Building a family can sometimes be complex, but it doesn’t have to be confusing. Dr. Mazur is dedicated to helping his patients make informed decisions by thoroughly understanding their options and providing the best plan for success while honoring each individual’s unique priorities.
Dr. Mazur is originally from Houston, Texas, and completed his undergraduate studies in Ohio. He returned to Houston to pursue his medical degree, followed by a residency in obstetrics and gynecology, and a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, along with a Master of Science. He is board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology (Ob/Gyn) and reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI).
Dr. Mazur’s research interests include progesterone receptor signaling and uterine receptivity. He has a special interest in reproductive aging and options for fertility preservation. Dr. Mazur has presented his work at international meetings, published in peer reviewed journals, and has recently authored a chapter on uterine function in the definitive text on human reproductive physiology, Knobil and Neill’s Physiology of Reproduction.
Dr. Mazur is married to Dr. Angela Mazur, a pediatrician, and they are busy raising their three young children together. He sees patients at the Tacoma location.
