Dr. Guy Ringler is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He is a proud partner with California Fertility Partners and has dedicated his career to helping individuals and families build the families of their dreams.
Growing up in suburban Detroit, Dr. Ringler was the son of a barber and a school bus driver and shared a close bond with his three sisters. He graduated with honors from the University of Michigan and earned his medical degree from Wayne State University, where he received the class award for highest honors in Obstetrics and Gynecology. His post-graduate training at the University of Chicago and the University of Pennsylvania further honed his expertise, earning him recognition for his research on placental function.
In 1990, Dr. Ringler moved west to Los Angeles to practice reproductive medicine alongside the founding physicians of California Fertility Partners. “There is nothing more joyous than welcoming a newborn child into this world,” he shares, reflecting his passion for his work.
Dr. Ringler is deeply committed to patient education and advocacy. He has served on the board of the American Fertility Association, the advisory council of Men Having Babies, and the clinical faculty of UCLA School of Medicine. His dedication to family building earned him a Family Building Award from the American Fertility Association and recognition as a Super Doctor by Los Angeles Magazine. His writing on family-building topics has been featured in The Huffington Post, The Advocate, and Time magazine, and he has lectured globally on fertility treatment options.
Dr. Ringler has developed a loyal patient following in Southern California and an international reputation for expertise in surrogacy and third-party reproduction. Patients travel from Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa for his care. A pioneer in helping gay men have children through egg donation and surrogacy, Dr. Ringler remains devoted to supporting the LGBTQ community in achieving their dreams of parenthood.

Dr. Ringler lives in Los Angeles with his husband, architect Mark Rios, and continues to inspire hope and create joy for families worldwide.
