She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Washington, followed by a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of California, San Francisco.
“I’m a proud Seattle native who grew up on the Sammamish Plateau. I was even born at the University of Washington Medical Center, where I later returned to complete my medical training.”
Dr. Wald’s clinical and research interests include assisting couples with genetic conditions requiring preimplantation genetic diagnosis, studying the genetics of ovarian aging, and understanding how endometriosis impacts fertility. She has a particular passion for helping women with cancer preserve their fertility, ensuring they have options for conception after treatment. During her fellowship, she focused on fertility preservation in cancer patients and has authored several publications on optimal strategies for this unique group.
Dr. Wald sees patients at our Everett location. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, long-distance running, skiing, attending local sporting events, and exploring the stunning natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
