Dr. Michele J. Cho’s down-to-earth, easygoing nature helps her patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their treatment. She finds every aspect of her work fulfilling, especially when patients express gratitude even when outcomes fall short of their expectations, showing satisfaction with the care they received.
Originally from California and New York, Dr. Cho brings a strong advocacy for women to her work. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a Minor in Feminist Studies, which laid the foundation for her medical education. Dr. Cho earned her MD from the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine, completed her residency at New York University School of Medicine’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and pursued a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at UCLA. She is board certified in both OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
Dr. Cho has received several honors throughout her educational journey, including the Howard Hughes Research Fellowship, membership in the Pathology Honor Society, and scholarships from the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society. Her research spans molecular biology, dietary supplementation in pregnancy, and fertility-related weight issues in women. She has been published in the Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics and the Journal of Investigative Dermatology and presented three times at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine’s annual meeting.
Dr. Cho has a long history of teaching and mentoring, from biology labs and MCAT preparation to serving as a mentor for high school students in California. She has held leadership roles in multiple organizations, including Salerni Collegium, Medical Students for Choice, and the American Medical Women’s Association.
Dr. Cho is an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, where she sits on the Technology Committee, and a Junior Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
