Seth Levrant, M.D., joined IHR in January 2022 with years of experience providing compassionate and highly successful IVF, reproductive endocrinology, and infertility care, primarily in Chicago’s southwest suburbs and Northwest Indiana. As of 2026, Dr. Levrant is part of Pinnacle Fertility IVF1, where he continues to deliver individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs in their journey to build a family.
Dr. Levrant’s practice philosophy combines an academic medical approach with the warmth and comfort of a small private practice environment, aligning seamlessly with the expertise and personalized care offered at Pinnacle Fertility. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a BA in Behavioral Biology and received his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn, NY. He completed his OB-GYN residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center/Kings County Hospital and his fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Chicago.
Dr. Levrant’s experience includes working at a large fertility center followed by running a solo practice with an IVF lab for over twenty years. He has authored or co-authored twenty peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. His current areas of research include non-invasive techniques to identify the best embryos for transfer and the development of new tests to better assess sperm function and quality. His clinical interests include polycystic ovarian syndrome, reproductive surgery, IVF and PGT, and male factor infertility.
Dr. Levrant has been married since medical school and has three adult children. He enjoys traveling, is an amateur photographer, tries to avoid social media and reality TV, and appreciates a good “bad dad” joke.
